Westside High School of Omaha received the Sweepstakes Award in the
2018 Nebraska Press Women High School Communications Contest May 5 at NPW’s spring conference in Omaha.
Additionally, Nebraska high school journalism students were honored for placing in the contest, which includes categories for student newspaper, yearbook, broadcasting and online video work.
First-place winning entries have advanced to the National Federation of Press Women High School Communications Contest, with awards in that contest to be presented in September.
